| Get the business climate back so that we can reduce our unemployment rate and make it easier for small business startups and expansion to occur: eliminate the personal and corporate income tax, and replace it with a broader and slightly higher state sales tax rate; eliminate most subsidies and tax credits; pass right to work. Block the state's exposure to the Federal Patient and Protection Affordable Care Act, and replace it with free market solutions for health care; I would also opt for state compacts to help bring these costs down and to eliminate the exposure to the Federal plan. |
